In fashion editorials, shopping sections, celebrity’s photos and articles, Melissa has appeared again this month in many important publications in and outside Brazil.
In the United States, Vogue Teen (September issue) has included Melissa Lady Dragon in a colorful editorial with a perfume of the 80’s. Also, the New York Times published on the 17th of August an article about the revival of the jellies, titled “The Reincarnation of the Jelly Shoe, With a Designer Flair”.
The text, by Jessica Michault, describes Melissa as the pioneers of plastic design, mentioning the brand’s partnerships with important designers during the last 30 years, such as Karim Rashid, Vivienne Westwood, Alexandre Herchcovitch and Isabela Capeto. The “eco-friendly”plastic material has also been quoted in the article, which is available here.

Among celebrities, Kate Perry, the singer, has been photographed again with her Lady Dragon!
As for the Brazilians, many famous fancy girls have been walking around using Melissa: rock star Pitty went to the Multishow Awards on the 18th of August wearing Melissa Three Straps Elevated + Vivienne Westwood, while designer Renata Moura starred Gol magazine’s cover this month with Melissa Bubbles.
